Job Summary
The Servicing Manager – Debt Sales will facilitate, coordinate, and assist in the packaging, marketing, and selling of collateralized and non-collateralized loans post and pre charge off. They will review and monitor the full cycle of any sale during pre intra and post-sale. Responsibilities will include contract negotiations, account selections, onboarding and working with legal, compliance, treasury, accounting and any applicable business partner acting in compliance with special handling instructions established by Exeter, as well as local, state and federal rules and regulations. Act as a point of contact between various agencies and third parties. Responsible for the tracking, monitoring, and reporting of all invoicing for account payments and fees between the customer, Exeter, and various agencies. Creation and implementation for all trend and historical reporting for all debt sales.
The Servicing Manager- Debt Sales will also be the liaison between Exeter and all deficiency vendors. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to creation and tracking of all reporting, invoicing, and account placement between vendors. They will host/facilitate weekly/biweekly/monthly conference calls to discuss trends, patterns, performance, invoicing, and any other topics needed for the management of vendors. The Servicing Manager will be responsible for onboarding, contract negotiations, SOW tracking to ensure all metrics are being met by new, current, and potential vendors. Site visits will be required to ensure all policies, procedures, government regulations, IT security and physical security is being enforced on all sites.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for all duties for debt sales and deficiency vendors including but not limited to prescreening and onboarding of new vendors, pre market selection based upon specific account parameters, contact negotiations/reviews, ensuring all state, federal, and CFPB laws and regulations are being adhered to, direct communication with executive level management internally/externally, and post-sale invoices and accounting.
- Manages post sale portfolio sold to buyers and acts as liaison for Exeter to ensure all contract terms to and SLA are meet and adhered too on a monthly basis.
- Coordinates with all applicable departments internally and externally to manage/resolve accounts or problems and expedite work.
- Travel to complete site visits and ensure all proper legal documentation is kept on file for all vendors.
- Ensure department is compliant with all policy and procedures to minimize risk.

Education and Experience
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
- Six (6) plus years of experience, with one (1) plus years of management experience.
- Knowledge of state and federal collection laws, as well as bankruptcy laws required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Interpersonal skills prompting a team environment.
- Ability to professionally represent Exeter and maintain working relationships with internal/external customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including developing and delivering presentations to senior management.
